I am and have always been a massive fan of Halloween. Even though I'm not super fond of scary movies, I still love the aesthetic of creepy and unsettling scenes and objects you would usually see around Halloween time. With this project, my initial idea was to create surreal and creepy-feeling wigs as my TikTok filters. I wanted to create wearable wigs with triggered animations of creepy-crawly things slithering out from beneath the hair. However, after playing around with Blender and following a few allegedly beginner-friendly tutorials on creating hair I soon realized that creating a wig was far beyond the scope of my untrained ability with the software. I then decided to pursue my second idea, which was to play around with eyeballs. I liked the idea of having realistically modeled eyeballs become wearable in unrealistic, cartoon-like shapes. This idea was also much more doable with the knowledge of Blender. I also knew I could create one base model in Blender, and adjust it as needed to create different filters. Ideally, I would have been able to add weight and movement in Effect House to give the eyeballs in my first filter a "bouncy" effect, but this again proved to be beyond my scope of ability in the program.
